Girl Scout Troop 90383 meets with Township Trustee

Girl Scout Troop 90383 are working towards their “inside government” badge. The troop leader is Nicole Wunderie and the co-leaders are Adrienne Chase and Tanya Luzio.

To earn this badge, the troop needed to explore laws that affect you everyday, and meet people who work in government. On November 11th the troop had an opportunity to meet Sagamore Hills Township Trustee John Zaccardelli to learn about local government. The girls asked many questions from “Why did you decide to become a Trustee?” to “What is the worst part of being a Trustee?” The girls also had an opportunity to take a tour and meet Officers from the Sagamore Hills Police Department and got to meet the Macedonia Firemen at the Fire Station.
