PROCLAMATION PRESENTED TO SAGAMORE HILLS ANIMAL HOSPITAL

Chief Hayes and the Board of Trustees of Sagamore Hills Township presented a proclamation to Dr. Hennis and his wife Annette Hennis at the Trustee Meeting 8/13/19.

The Township wanted to express their appreciation for the invaluable assistance the Hennis’ and staff have provided to the Sagamore Hills Police Department over many years, making themselves always available when officers come across injured, stray or lost pets.

Officers recently notified Dr. Hennis and Mrs. Hennis of a black dog that was sick, wandering around the Township. Dr. Hennis and Mrs. Hennis immediately responded and took the stray dog in their personal vehicle to the Animal Hospital despite its bad sores with maggots on it and an abhorrent odor. Also, a year ago Dr. Hennis and Mrs. Hennis saved the life of a puppy rushed to their hospital after being left in a hot car.

Chief Hayes and the Board of Trustees of Sagamore Hills Township presented a proclamation to Dr. Mark Hennis, his wife Annette Hennis and the entire staff at the Sagamore Hills Animal Hospital at the August 13th Trustee Meeting.

There are many instances over many years which Dr. Hennis and his staff have assisted the Sagamore Hills Police Department. Therefore, the Board of Trustees of Sagamore Hills Township wanted to recognize Dr. Hennis, his wife Annette, and the entire staff for their invaluable assistance over many years.
